The Dreamland Billionaire Series Review
The Dreamland Billionaire Series by Lauren Asher has been all over Bookstagram, so I finally gave in and read it. I was absolutely obsessed with the storyline in The Fine Print and moved right onto book two, Terms and Conditions. I finished a few months before the third book, Final Offer, was set to publish, and I was devastated when I had to wait. The day it was published, I downloaded it to my Kindle and dove in. This is one of my favorite romance series, and they just kept getting better with each book.
Synopsis
This Dreamland Billionaire Series is based on the three Cane brothers who find out that in order to keep their inheritance, they each have to complete a task that their grandfather left for them in his will. If they are unsuccessful, Dreamland (essentially Disney World) and all of its worth would go to their no good alcoholic father.
The Fine Print
The first brother in the series, Rowan Cane, used to love to draw and be creative. Ever since losing his mom, he rarely shows any of his talents. His grandfather's dying wish is for him to get back into designing rides for the amusement park and use his talents to help make a difference at Dreamland. He stumbles upon one of the employee’s, Zahara’s, proposal for a new exciting ride. Rowan moves her up to the design team to start working on it, in hopes that her ideas will also help him. They do not get along and the tension is fierce!
Terms and Conditions
Always the “big brother”, workaholic Declan Cane is on his way to becoming the next CEO of Dreamland. He is overprotective of his brothers and micromanages everything. So when his grandfather's will states he has to get married and have an heir, he knows he needs to figure out something fast. He can’t let his brothers down. When all of his potential wives keep backing out, his assistant, Iris, steps up and offers to help him. But working so closely, and now living with, Iris is going to be harder than Declan thought.
The Final Offer
The last brother, and my favorite brother, is Callahan Kane. Cal has a past with substance abuse, but everyone chooses to ignore it. His task is to go back to his childhood home and spend a summer fixing it up and selling it. But when he arrives to find his childhood best friend, who also happens to be his ex-girlfriend, and her daughter living there, things do not go according to plan.
Review:
Lauren Asher did an amazing job building these characters and making us fall in love with them. Each brother is unique in their own way, but they also have the same stubbornness in common. Their love for their grandpa is evident, while their hatred for their father runs deep. The banter and sexual tension each brother experiences with their flames was perfect and I wish they had one more brother so this series could keep going. The Dreamland Billionaire Series is a must read for all romance book lovers!
I know I will re-read them again, especially when I am in a reading slump!
Lauren Asher also has a series called Dirty Air, which is about the racing scene!
Make sure you check out Lauren Asher’s books and be on the lookout for her next book coming out in November, Love Redesigned.
Do you have a go-to romance series you love?
